We spent a lot of time looking at venues online, knowing that we wanted a dry hire venue which turned out to be much more difficult to find than we thought! We came across Moat Hall Barns and instantly booked a viewing. It was actually the only venue we viewed in person – we only needed to visit once to know that it was perfect!
Amy and Ben were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We absolutely loved knowing that the venue truly was dry hire and that we could craft our day into exactly what we wanted it to be! We opted to pay for their wedding organiser package and we were blown away by the support and advice offered both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself to make sure that every element ran as smoothly as it did. Everything was perfect and we honestly couldn't fault a thing.
We were able to hand over communications with our vendors to Amy and Ben which really took the stress off in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They were so accommodating and allowed us to have everything the way we wanted it - including a silent disco to end the night! Our guests have not stopped raving about how brilliant and well organised the venue was.
We also absolutely loved the glamping pod that we were able to stay in the night of the wedding – it was just so lovely to be able to stay at the venue.
Overall, we had the most perfect day and would recommend the venue to anyone! Thank you so much Amy and Ben for everything!

The venue itself is utterly beautiful and has been restored with so much thought and love. There are so many different spaces and elements to use, all incredible and the versatility makes for great photos and zero weather worries! It is the perfect, most gorgeous, blank canvas to personalise however you want to. We adored it from the moment we saw it and it lived up to every expectation. Amy & Ben were so helpful and kind and made us feel important right from the get go.
Amy & Ben also coordinated our day and brought all our hopes, ideas and dreams to reality. The day ran like clockwork, every element had been considered and no task was too big or too small. This venue is truly stunning. We loved the vision Amy and Ben had for the barn back in 2022 and didn’t hesitate to choose if for our special day.
The view, the grounds and the barn are all beautiful.
We chose to have our ceremony outdoors and our wedding breakfast in the barn, to finish the day we had a tipi on the paddock.
Everything was amazing and we could really put our stamp on the venue with it being DIY, which was super important to us.

This truly is a beautiful, special venue.Amy, Ben and their team have done an incredible job transforming the place into a perfect setting for any wedding or event. We had so many lovely compliments from our wedding guests about the venue and how stunning the barn looked.We stayed in the new honeymoon suite on site - this is a perfect addition to the venue for newlyweds.
