Where do we even begin... Tom and I can't express our gratitude enough for making our day truly magical. We knew instantly when we viewed your venue in October 2021 that this was it, and you far exceeded all our expectations. Your kindness, generosity and attention to detail are beyond compare. We'll never forget where it all began...pigs in the barn, cars in the shed and looking at building plans on the picnic bench in your Mum's garden. You made us feel truly special.

We and all of our guests highly recommend Moat Hall Barns as a wedding venue, we had a perfect weekend and everyone loved the venue. There's so many positive things to mention, firstly the venue owners put a lot of their time and attention into each occasion, both in helping with planning before the wedding and particularly during the occasion when they helped keep things running smoothly in the background. Perfect mix of helping without over-imposing, and their very nice people to talk to too. The venue itself has been very thoughtfully constructed and nicely set up, such that we didn't require much additional decoration. There's multiple different spaces and the outside area is great on a nice day. The main barn too is really nice for the meal and evening reception. We wish Amy & Ben all the best for their venture, they only started earlier this year but operate very professionally without issues which says a lot. You won't regret choosing them to host your special occasion! Thanks & best wishes.

Moat Hall Barns was perfect for our wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful, with the rustic red brick buildings, to the high finish inside the barn itself. It had everything we envisaged for our wedding and more! Amy, Ben and family were amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process. We cannot thank them enough for their support. The amount of compliments we have received is testament to their hard work. We are now trying to think of an excuse to return to their venue! The location was excellent with stunning countryside views all around. It was only a stone's throw away from Shrewsbury which was perfect for guest accommodation. Once again, thank you so much.

Moat Hall Barns is a stunning wedding venue and was perfect for our DIY wedding. They are so attentive to detail and responsive which really put us at ease. It is the perfect venue to create a personalised wedding, the different spaces are so versatile for different aspects of the wedding day.

What Amy and Ben have done with this place is truly special and incredible. We could not have asked for a better place to get married. Being able to choose our own suppliers was such a wonderful way to put a personal touch to our day.The quality of the restoration to the site is second to none and they as a couple are so welcoming and open which really supported the wedding planning process to be relaxed and easy going.Anyone considering a DIY hire venue for their special day should 100% go see Moat Hall Barns. You will have the best day you could ask for!

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first couple to say their I Do's at the venue, and Amy and Ben have gone over and above what we expected after seeing all the potential when it was still being converted.From the moment we met them we could feel how determined they were to create the venue of any lucky couple's dreams and all of their hard work has more than paid off.We had an amazing day and they couldn't be more helpful in both the build up, on the day, and post wedding. We are already thinking of renewing our vows with them in a few years so that we can do it all over again!

What a venue! Everyone who came was blown away by the beauty of it. We had a very wet day but having the outdoor space undercover was amazing. Being able to look down from the balcony was so fun as we could see everyone having a good time but it was also a nice place for people to have a quiet chat. Amy and Ben have been extremely helpful and recommended lots of the suppliers we used and they were all great. Lots of little gems of wisdom were given when we met with Amy and Ben the day before our wedding, which calmed all our nerves about things coming together. They were so friendly and went the extra mile for us. We would book it again in a heartbeat.

5 stars just about scratches the surface of how amazing this place and the people are. From the moment we saw the sketches of the proposed finish on instagram we knew this was the place we had to have our wedding. And to say the finished product exceeded all expectations would be an understatement.Every inch of this venue has been so meticulously thought through with couples in mind from start to finish. From the stunning lakeside gazebo to a bigger toilet especially for the bride, everything has been thought of. From the first message, to show arounds and the moment we left after our big day, Amy and Ben have been nothing short of amazing. Always quick to respond to messages and the help and support they provided over our entire weekend was second to none.Not all DIY venues will have owners so willing to get stuck in and be on hand for anything you need. We felt so at home and relaxed during our time here and we cannot thank Amy & Ben enough for everything!

Having just had the most magical wedding at Moat Hall Barns, we can't thank Amy & Ben enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more.The venue has been finished to such a beautiful standard, and they have created a space that any couple would be lucky enough to share such a special day in. All of our guests commented on the character of the barn, the stunning setting, and how approachable both Ben & Amy were.From viewing during renovations last year & trusting in their vision, we feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to share such a perfect day with our friends and family. It's hard to believe this is Moat Hall Barns' first wedding season as they have got it spot on! Amy and Ben helped us create our dream venue and nothing was too much trouble. My wife and I got married at Moat Hall Barns in June 2023 (Always late leaving reviews). Our experience with the venue, and in particular Ben and Amy, was nothing short of fantastic. The venue is stunning and was exactly what we were after, and nothing was too much trouble for Ben and Amy, who helped us out in so many ways I couldn't list them all. I cannot recommend this venue enough for both the location and setting, but also for the people.

Everything was perfect from start to finish - this venue couldn’t have been better with so many different areas and such a beautiful location, everything about it was just stunning. We had the best day of our lives and we couldn’t have pulled it off without such an incredible venue to have it in.
